4TH EPISCOPAL DISTRICT SONS OF ALLEN

WHO WE ARE
The Sons of Allen Men's Fellowship fosters closer relationships between men of the church, equips men of the church for meaningful service, reaches unchurched men, and presents positive role models for our youth.
The Fourth Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church encompasses the U.S. states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the countries of Canada and India. The district is further organized into smaller units called conferences: Canadian, Chicago, Illinois, India, Indiana, and Michigan Conferences. The conferences have Districts and each local church belongs to a District.
As of August 2024, the district is led by Bishop Frederick A. Wright, Sr., who was assigned to oversee the Fourth Episcopal District during the 52nd Session of the AME Church General Conference .
The Fourth Episcopal District Sons of Allen, Inc. was established to assist the local units to deliver on the purpose of the Sons of Allen as outlined in the AME Discipline.
WHAT WE DO
There are six (6) Commissions within the Sons of Allen per the AME Discipline: a.Commission on Christian Fellowship b.Commission on Christian Service c.Commission on Christian Training d.Commission on Devotional Life e.Commission on Prison Ministry Commission on Youth Ministries. The Commissions shall recommend activities through which the purpose of the organization may be realized and the work of the Sons of Allen on all levels encouraged.

The 4th District Sons of Allen exists to serve the local ministries to provide guidance, support, and spiritual uplifting. To impact and serve the district we need financial support.
